The three activities
Three tables, taught at the table.
-
Roulette
A 2.4 x 1.2 m table with wheel, layout and rake. The croupier-host explains the layout and the calls to each new group, and keeps the pace slow enough to talk over.
Prop chips only. No stakes, no cash prizes, nothing exchangeable.
-
Blackjack
Seven seated players with a dealer shoe and printed rule cards on the table. The easiest of the three to pick up, so it is usually where guests start.
Prop chips only. No stakes, no cash prizes, nothing exchangeable.
-
Poker
Nine seated players, played as a themed activity in short rounds rather than as a long game, so the table keeps turning over through the evening.
Prop chips only. No stakes, no cash prizes, nothing exchangeable.
All three are run by croupier-hosts: they teach first and deal second. Taking part is voluntary, and the chips have no denomination printed on them because they have no value. Admission is 20+ only.
How the casino-style formats work
Themed entertainment. Not gambling.
This matters enough to say plainly, in one place, rather than in small print.
- Everything happens offline, at a venue you choose. There is no online casino and no play over the internet.
- Chips and points are symbolic props. They carry no denomination and no value.
- Chips cannot be bought and cannot be topped up during the evening.
- There are no stakes of money or goods, and no cash winnings.
- Nothing - chips, points or results - is exchanged for money, vouchers, goods or prizes of value.
- Admission to the programme is 20+ only.
- You are paying us to organise an evening, not to run a game.
Company evening / 4 hours
The evening, hour by hour.
The standard shape for a company evening with our table programme. Guests arrive into a dressed room, learn the tables in small groups and then move freely for the rest of the evening. Speeches sit in the middle, when everybody is in the same room and still listening.
-
18:30
Arrival and the tables open
Welcome at the door, a prop handed over, and croupier-hosts teaching each table to whoever walks up first.
-
19:15
First rotation
Three tables running at once. Guests move at their own pace; nobody is put on a schedule.
-
20:15
Speeches and a pause
Tables go quiet for 15-20 minutes, the host hands over your microphone, then the room reopens.
-
20:45
Second rotation and the photo corner
The busiest part of the evening. Music comes up, the photo corner gets used properly.
-
22:00
Close on the microphone
Chips are collected, the host thanks the room, and pack-down starts after your guests have left.
Start times move with your venue and your catering. The order of the parts is what matters, and the coordinator adjusts it on the night rather than compressing your speeches.
Scenography and the photo corner
The room is part of the package.
The three tables are dressed as one set: cloth runners, six brass lanterns, two floor plants and warm spots directly over the baize so the tables read as the centre of the room. Ten LED uplights go on the walls to take the room away from its everyday lighting.
- Photo wall 3 x 2 m with a printed backdrop and 2 LED panels
- Backdrop printed from your own artwork at no extra cost
- Your banners, signage and printed materials placed during set-up
- 10 LED uplights on the walls plus 4 warm spots over the tables
- Printed table cards explaining each activity, left on the tables all evening
We do not print anything that suggests a money prize or a gambling offer, and we do not produce branded merchandise.

Questions we get asked
Questions about this format.
What is a casino-style evening actually based on?
It is an on-site themed programme for adults at a venue you choose. Croupier-hosts run roulette, blackjack and poker as themed activities and teach the rules at the table. Chips are symbolic props: not sold, not topped up, not staked, and never exchanged for money, vouchers, goods or prizes of value. No cash winnings, no online casino, no gambling. Admission is 20+ and the fee is for organising the evening, not for play.
Do guests need to know the rules beforehand?
No, and most do not. Each croupier-host spends the first part of the evening teaching their table in groups of three or four, using printed rule cards that stay on the table all night. People who do not want to play at all still get something out of the evening - the room, the photo corner and the music are all part of it.
How much space do three tables need?
From 160 m2 of clear floor for 80 guests. That allows walking room around all three tables, a photo wall against one wall and a bar area. We also need 3 double power outlets within 15 m of the tables, and ground-floor or lift access, because the roulette table is 2.4 m long and does not go up a narrow stairwell.
Can we brand the room?
Yes. The backdrop on the photo wall can be printed from your own artwork, and we can place your own signage, banners or printed materials in the room during set-up. We do not produce branded merchandise, and we do not print anything that implies a money prize or a gambling offer.
What happens to the chips at the end?
They are counted back into our cases and leave with us. They have no value, no denomination printed on them and nothing is paid out against them. If you want a result, the host announces a top table or hands out printed certificates - that is as far as it goes.
Tell us about the evening
Give us the date, the town and roughly how many guests. We will check whether the date is free and come back with a written quote, usually within one working day.
