Casino-Style Evening
Our flagship evening and the format most clients book first. Three baize tables - roulette, blackjack and poker - run as themed activities by croupier-hosts who teach the rules at the table, so nobody needs to arrive knowing them. Chips are symbolic props: they are not sold, cannot be topped up and cannot be exchanged for anything. The evening is built around moving between tables, talking, and a short finish on the microphone.

Narrowing it down
Four questions settle it.
-
01
What is the occasion?
A company evening with speeches needs a quiet gap in the middle. A private celebration does not. A team day wants tasks rather than a stage.
-
02
How many guests?
Up to 40 points you at the puzzle, quiz and two-table formats. Up to 80 opens the full catalogue.
-
03
What venue do you have?
Floor area, power, access and whether the room can be darkened rule formats in or out faster than anything else. Every format lists its requirements.
-
04
Watching or doing?
Some groups want a room and a band-style evening. Others want stations, rounds and a scoreboard. Mixing both rarely works in three hours.

Questions we get asked
Choosing, combining, and who does what.
How do we choose between formats?
Start with the group, not the theme. The number of guests, the venue you have, how long you want the programme to run and whether people want to do something or watch something will narrow 29 formats down to about three. Tell us those four things in an enquiry and we will come back with the shortlist.
Can two formats be combined?
Often, yes - for example a seated themed dinner with our two-table programme as a centrepiece. Combining changes the crew, the equipment and the time needed, so it is quoted as one package rather than two prices added together. Family days are the exception: adult-only elements are never combined with a family programme.
Which formats are for smaller groups?
The puzzle and quiz formats, the chip tournament and the two-table lounge are built for up to 40 guests. They are not a cheaper version of a large event; they are designed so that everyone in a small room has something to do.
Who is responsible for what on the day?
We are responsible for the programme, the equipment we bring, our crew and the timings. You or your venue are responsible for the room itself, access for our vehicles, power, furniture, bathrooms, catering, drinks and any venue permissions. Every format page lists its venue requirements so there is no guessing.
Are the casino-style formats gambling?
No. They are themed entertainment: props instead of chips with value, no stakes, no cash prizes, nothing exchangeable, and admission for adults 20+ only. The programme is not gambling within the meaning of the Gambling Act 2003, because there is no stake and no prize of value.
Shall we check your date?
Send us the date, the town and roughly how many guests. We will tell you whether the date is free and what the package would cost, in writing. An enquiry does not reserve a date.
