01

Company Game Show

A studio-style evening: a built set, buzzers, a scoreboard on a large screen and a host who keeps it moving. Teams of four to six play through rounds written for your group, with a short break in the middle. Points only - there is nothing to stake and nothing to win beyond the scoreboard.

What is included

  • studio set 5 x 2.4 m with a printed backdrop and 2 podiums
  • 8 wireless buzzers and a scoring laptop
  • 75-inch screen on a stand showing the scoreboard
  • host-compere for 4 hours and a technician on the desk
  • 6 rounds written for your group, printed answer packs for 10 teams
  • 12 LED uplights and 4 stage spots
  • PA 2 x 600 W and 3 microphones
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 140 m2, seating at tables for 60, 3 double power outlets, and a room that can be dimmed for the screen.

Adaptable within the price

Round topics, the number of rounds, and how much of the content is about your own organisation.

02

Escape Room Event

We build four portable puzzle rooms in your venue, each one a dressed station with locks, ciphers and a 20-minute clock. Teams rotate, a game master watches each station, and the whole thing closes with a combined final puzzle. Good for groups that get bored of talking.

What is included

  • 4 portable puzzle stations, each about 3 x 3 m
  • 24 locks, 6 cipher boxes, 4 UV torch sets
  • 4 game masters plus 1 lead game master
  • station dressing: 4 backdrops, 8 prop crates, 4 clocks
  • final combined puzzle for all teams
  • PA 2 x 250 W and 2 microphones for briefings
  • 8 LED uplights and 4 work lights
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 120 m2 so the stations do not overhear each other, 2 double power outlets, and tables and chairs for briefings.

Adaptable within the price

Puzzle difficulty, the number of stations, the theme of the dressing, and whether the final puzzle is competitive.

03

Murder Mystery Party

A dinner with a plot. Two actors play the characters, guests get a role card and an evidence folder, and the host runs three rounds of questioning between courses. The solution is revealed in the last twenty minutes. Works best when guests already know each other a little.

What is included

  • 2 actors in costume for 4 hours plus 1 host
  • 40 role cards and 8 evidence folders
  • evidence table 2 m with 20 props and a pin board 1.2 x 1 m
  • photo corner 2.4 x 2 m with a period backdrop
  • 10 LED uplights in two colours and 4 pin spots
  • PA 2 x 250 W and 3 microphones
  • printed solution sheets for all guests
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 100 m2 with seated dining for 40, 2 double power outlets, and a room quiet enough for dialogue to carry.

Adaptable within the price

Period of the story, the number of speaking roles, and how the rounds sit around your courses.

04

Team Task Circuit

Six task stations, timed rotations and two facilitators. Tasks are practical rather than physical - building, sorting, estimating, negotiating - so people in normal clothes can take part. We run it indoors or under a marquee and finish with a short debrief on the microphone.

What is included

  • 6 task stations with all equipment and printed instructions
  • 2 facilitators plus 1 lead facilitator with a microphone
  • timing system, 6 station clocks and a results board 1.5 x 1 m
  • 40 team vests in 6 colours
  • PA 2 x 250 W and 2 microphones
  • 8 work lights for indoor use
  • printed debrief sheets
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 150 m2 indoors or a flat area of 300 m2 outdoors, 2 double power outlets, and 6 trestle tables (we can bring them).

Adaptable within the price

Task mix, rotation length, and whether the debrief is facilitated or left to you.

05

Quiz Night

A clean, affordable, reliable evening. Seven rounds, a host with a microphone, printed answer sheets and a scoreboard on the screen. We write two of the rounds about your own group, which is the part people remember. Three hours including the break.

What is included

  • 7 rounds including 2 written about your group
  • host-compere for 3 hours
  • printed answer packs and pens for 10 teams
  • 55-inch screen on a stand with the scoreboard
  • scoring laptop and a results board
  • PA 2 x 250 W and 2 microphones
  • 6 LED uplights for the room
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 80 m2 with seating at tables for 40, 1 double power outlet, and a wall or stand position for the screen.

Adaptable within the price

Round topics, difficulty, the length of the break, and whether there is a music round.

On the day

How a clues & teamwork event runs.

  1. 1

Briefing: teams drawn on the spot, rules explained once on the microphone, vests or answer packs handed out.

  2. 2

Timed rotations or rounds, with a facilitator or game master at each station and scores going straight onto the board.

  3. 3

A break with the board left up, which is where most of the arguing happens.

  4. 4

The weighted final round, the results, and a ten-minute debrief if you want one.

Who is in the room

A lead facilitator or host-compere with the microphone, a facilitator or game master per station, and a coordinator. Hosts explain, invite and move on - nobody is pushed into taking part.

Before you book a venue

What the room or the site needs.

  • From 80 m2 to 150 m2 indoors, with enough separation that stations do not overhear each other.
  • Seating at tables for the quiz, game-show and dinner formats.
  • 1 to 3 double power outlets, and a stand position or wall for a screen.
  • 6 trestle tables for the task formats - we can bring them if your venue cannot.
  • A room that can be dimmed where a scoreboard is on screen.

Set-up and pack-down

Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down up to 1-2 hours after it. That time is included in the price, but it is additional to the programme hours your guests see, so check it against your venue hire.

Not sure if your venue works?

Send us the venue name with your enquiry. We check these requirements against it and tell you before you commit, rather than on the day.

Adults, and no gambling anywhere in our catalogue.

These formats contain no casino-style tables. Where any format in our catalogue does, the chips are symbolic props: not sold, not staked, and never exchanged for money, vouchers or prizes of value. Evening programmes are for guests aged 20+ and over; Family Day is the one daytime format designed for families, and adult-only elements are never combined with it.

Our responsible entertainment rules

Questions we get asked

Questions about this category.

Are the tasks physical?

Mostly not. They are built around solving, building, sorting, estimating and negotiating, so people in office clothes can take part. Sports Day is the exception, and even there the events are chosen so fitness does not decide the result.

How large can the group be?

Up to 40 for the puzzle, quiz and task formats, and up to 60 for the game show. Beyond that the rotations get too long and people spend the evening waiting, which defeats the point.

Can the content be about our organisation?

Yes, and it is usually the best part. We write two quiz rounds or a set of game-show questions from material you send us. We do not use anything confidential, and we check the final wording with you before the event.

What if a team is much stronger than the others?

The scoring is built to avoid runaway results: every team scores in every station, and the last rotation is weighted, so nothing is decided halfway through.

Shall we check your date?

Send us the date, the town and roughly how many guests. We will tell you whether the date is free and what the package would cost, in writing. An enquiry does not reserve a date.
