01

Around the World

Five dressed stations, five places, one passport per guest. Each station has a prop activity and a stamp, and the host closes the evening when most passports are full. It gives a standing event a shape, which is usually what standing events lack.

What is included

  • 5 themed stations, each about 2.5 x 2.5 m with backdrop and props
  • 80 printed passports and 5 stamp sets
  • 2 roaming hosts for 3 hours plus 1 host with a microphone
  • station dressing: 5 backdrops, 10 lanterns, 5 signage boards without text
  • 16 LED uplights in four colours and 5 station spots
  • DJ with a 4-hour world-leaning set, PA 2 x 400 W
  • 2 microphones
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 200 m2 so the stations spread out, 4 double power outlets, and a circulation route between stations at least 1.5 m wide.

Adaptable within the price

Which five places are used, the activity at each station, and whether the passports are scored.

02

Winter Wonderland

A midwinter evening with a dressed arrival, a long-table look and a lot of candlelight. The theming is cold-palette but the room stays warm: white and silver dressing, frosted branches and one dramatic entrance element. Popular for June and July company dinners.

What is included

  • entrance arch 2.4 m wide with frosted branches and 60 LED points
  • 20 table centrepieces with branches, candles and silver detail
  • photo corner 3 x 2 m with a frosted backdrop and 2 LED panels
  • 16 LED uplights in cool white and 6 pin spots
  • 8 m of drape behind the top table
  • DJ with a 4-hour set, PA 2 x 400 W, 2 microphones
  • 1 host for arrival and announcements
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 170 m2, 3 double power outlets, an entrance that takes a 2.4 m arch, and clearance for candles under the venue rules.

Adaptable within the price

Warm or cool palette, how much of the arrival is dressed, and LED instead of flame if your venue does not allow candles.

03

Parisian Evening

A quieter evening for a group that wants to talk: bistro dressing, a jazz duo for the first two hours and a dressed street-corner photo point. We keep the volume down until late, which makes it a good fit for a dinner with speeches.

What is included

  • bistro dressing: 10 cafe tables, 20 chair covers, 10 table lamps
  • street-corner photo point 3 x 2 m with a facade backdrop
  • jazz duo for 2 hours, then a DJ for 2 hours
  • 12 LED uplights in warm amber and 4 pin spots
  • 20 centrepieces with small florals and candles
  • PA 2 x 400 W and 2 microphones
  • 1 host for arrival and announcements
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 150 m2, 3 double power outlets, and a room where a duo can play without amplification problems.

Adaptable within the price

Live duo or recorded music only, how long the quiet part runs, and the depth of the bistro dressing.

04

Italian Evening

One long table, greenery, lemons and a lot of candles, with a host who runs two short table games between courses. The dressing is simple and generous rather than fussy, and it photographs well from either end of the table.

What is included

  • long-table dressing for up to 80: runners, 12 m of greenery, 60 candles
  • 20 ceramic and lemon centrepieces
  • photo point 2.4 x 2 m with a terrace backdrop
  • 12 LED uplights in warm amber and 6 pin spots over the table
  • 2 short table games with printed cards
  • DJ with a 3-hour set, PA 2 x 400 W, 2 microphones
  • 1 host for 4 hours
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 150 m2 with room for a long-table run of 12 m, 2 double power outlets, and venue permission for open flame or LED candles instead.

Adaptable within the price

Long table or round tables, the number of table games, and greenery density.

05

Tropical Party

Palms, colour and a steel-pan playlist for the first hour. Built to work both indoors and under a marquee, with a dressed bar back and a photo point that does not need good weather. A straightforward summer format for a standing crowd.

What is included

  • 12 artificial palms and 8 planted props
  • bar-back dressing with 6 timber risers and 2 painted panels
  • photo point 3 x 2 m with a beach-at-dusk backdrop
  • 16 LED uplights in three colours and 4 beam spots
  • 60 arrival props: leis, fans, straw hats
  • DJ with a 4-hour set, PA 2 x 400 W, 2 microphones
  • 1 host for arrival and announcements
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 140 m2 indoors or a marquee of the same size, 3 double power outlets, and shade or cover for the props.

Adaptable within the price

Plant density, the first-hour music brief, and whether the bar back is dressed.

On the day

How a far places & seasons event runs.

  1. 1

The room is dressed and lit before doors: stations, long table or arrival arch, depending on the format.

  2. 2

Arrival into the dressed space, props or passports handed over, quiet music while guests gather.

  3. 3

The middle of the evening: station rotations or short table moments between courses, with the host keeping the pace.

  4. 4

Speeches in the quiet gap, then music up and the close on the microphone.

Who is in the room

A host for the full programme, roaming hosts where the format lists them, a DJ or live duo, and a coordinator. On the long-table formats the host works from the table rather than from a stage.

Before you book a venue

What the room or the site needs.

  • From 140 m2 to 200 m2, with a circulation route of at least 1.5 m between stations.
  • Room for a long-table run of 12 m where the format uses one.
  • 2 to 4 double power outlets depending on the dressing.
  • An entrance that takes a 2.4 m arch for the midwinter format.
  • Venue permission for candles, or LED candles instead at no change in price.

Set-up and pack-down

Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down up to 1-2 hours after it. That time is included in the price, but it is additional to the programme hours your guests see, so check it against your venue hire.

Not sure if your venue works?

Send us the venue name with your enquiry. We check these requirements against it and tell you before you commit, rather than on the day.

Send the venue details

Adults, and no gambling anywhere in our catalogue.

These formats contain no casino-style tables. Where any format in our catalogue does, the chips are symbolic props: not sold, not staked, and never exchanged for money, vouchers or prizes of value. Evening programmes are for guests aged 20+ and over; Family Day is the one daytime format designed for families, and adult-only elements are never combined with it.

Our responsible entertainment rules

Questions we get asked

Questions about this category.

Can you dress a venue that has its own strong style?

Yes, and sometimes the answer is to dress less. Send us photographs of the room and we will tell you which parts of the format to keep and which to drop, rather than layering our theming over something that already works.

Do you use real candles?

Where the venue allows it, yes, and the formats that rely on candlelight list it. If your venue does not allow open flame we swap in LED candles at no change to the price - tell us early, because it changes what we pack.

Are these formats suitable outdoors?

Tropical Party and the long-table formats work under a marquee. Winter Wonderland and Parisian Evening are indoor formats - the dressing and the lighting do not survive wind.

Shall we check your date?

Send us the date, the town and roughly how many guests. We will tell you whether the date is free and what the package would cost, in writing. An enquiry does not reserve a date.
