01

Company Gala

A formal evening with a proper entrance, a short stage programme and a room that holds 80 people comfortably for four hours. We build the run sheet around your speeches and awards rather than around our own content, and the host keeps the timing so dinner does not run late.

What is included

  • stage deck 4 x 3 m with skirting and a 2-step access unit
  • lectern, 3 wireless microphones and a 2 x 600 W PA
  • 75-inch screen on a stand with an HDMI and a laptop feed
  • host-compere for 4 hours and a technician on the desk
  • red carpet 8 m with 6 posts and rope

  • 16 LED uplights in one colour plus 4 stage spots
  • 20 table centrepieces and 40 brass lanterns
  • DJ set after the formal part, up to 2 hours

The venue needs

From 200 m2 with a ceiling of at least 2.8 m, 4 double power outlets, loading access for the stage deck, and a room that can be darkened for the screen.

Adaptable within the price

02

Great Gatsby Evening

A 1920s evening: fringe, brass, a long entrance and a band-style playlist. Guests get a prop at the door and the photo corner is dressed as a hotel lobby of the period. If you want tables in the room as well, they are added from our Tables & Black Tie programme and priced with it.

What is included

  • art-deco photo corner 3 x 2.4 m with a fringe backdrop and 2 LED panels
  • 40 period props: cigarette holders, feather bands, bow ties
  • entrance dressing: 2 columns, 6 m of fringe garland, carpet runner 6 m
  • 12 LED uplights in amber and 4 pin spots on the centrepieces
  • 20 table centrepieces in brass and glass
  • host-compere for 4 hours and a DJ with a period-leaning set
  • PA 2 x 400 W and 2 microphones
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 170 m2, 3 double power outlets, a wall of at least 3.5 m for the photo corner, and a clear entrance line of 6 m.

03

Hollywood Night

A film-premiere arrival with a carpet, a step-and-repeat wall and a screen running your own reel. The host introduces the room, hands over for speeches and then the evening moves to music. It photographs extremely well, which is usually the point.

What is included

  • red carpet 8 m with 6 posts, rope and 2 floor lights
  • step-and-repeat wall 4 x 2.4 m with a printed backdrop
  • 75-inch screen on a stand with an HDMI feed for your reel

Adaptable within the price

Backdrop artwork, length of the reel, and whether the carpet is at the entrance or inside the room.

04

Masquerade Ball

An evening built on one simple rule: everyone wears a mask for the first hour. We bring the masks, dress the room in two colours, and the host runs a short unmasking moment before dinner. Quiet, formal and easy for guests who do not know each other yet.

What is included

  • 90 masks in 3 styles, delivered on a dressed arrival table
  • arrival table 2 m with mirror trays and 4 candelabra
  • backdrop wall 3 x 2.4 m in deep tones with 2 LED panels
  • 12 LED uplights in two colours and 6 pin spots
  • 20 table centrepieces with masks and taper candles
  • host-compere for 4 hours, DJ with a 3-hour set
  • PA 2 x 400 W and 2 microphones
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 160 m2, 2 double power outlets, and an arrival area separate from the dining room if possible.

Adaptable within the price

Mask styles, the colour pair for the lighting, and where the unmasking moment sits in the run sheet.

05

Venetian Carnival

Carnival dressing with more colour and more performance than a masquerade: two roaming performers in costume, a dressed arrival corridor and a short stilt moment on the hour. Guests stay in their own clothes and take props from the arrival table.

What is included

  • 2 roaming performers in carnival costume for 3 hours
  • arrival corridor dressing: 8 m of drape, 6 lanterns, 2 columns
  • 60 props: masks, fans, feathered collars
  • photo corner 3 x 2 m with a canal-side backdrop
  • 14 LED uplights in three colours and 4 pin spots
  • host-compere for 4 hours and a DJ with a 3-hour set
  • PA 2 x 400 W and 2 microphones
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 170 m2 with a ceiling of at least 3.2 m if you want the stilt moment, 3 double power outlets, and a corridor or wide entrance to dress.

Adaptable within the price

Number of performers, whether the stilt moment is included, and how heavily the corridor is dressed.

06

Black & Gold Party

A two-colour evening that is quick to set and reads as expensive on camera. Black drape, brass and warm light, with a dressed bar back and a photo corner. A good choice when the venue is plain and you need the room to change character.

What is included

  • 12 m of black drape on 3 telescopic frames
  • bar-back dressing with 2 mirror panels and 8 brass risers
  • photo corner 3 x 2 m with a gold-leaf backdrop and 2 LED panels
  • 16 LED uplights in amber and 6 pin spots
  • 20 table centrepieces in brass and glass
  • DJ with a 3-hour set, PA 2 x 400 W, 2 microphones
  • 1 host for arrival and announcements
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 150 m2, 3 double power outlets, and walls that allow free-standing drape frames.

Adaptable within the price

How much drape is used, whether the bar back is dressed, and the depth of the centrepieces.

On the day

How a screen & spotlight event runs.

  1. 1

A dressed arrival: carpet, backdrop and photo corner lit, with a host at the door.

  2. 2

Guests seated, the host runs through the evening in two sentences and hands over to your caterer.

  3. 3

The formal part: speeches, awards and anything on the screen, run to your running order by the compere and a technician.

  4. 4

The floor opens, the DJ takes over, and the stage lighting changes to room lighting.

Who is in the room

A host-compere for the full programme, a technician on sound and screen, a DJ, and a coordinator. The compere works from your running order; we do not add content of our own to the formal part unless you ask for it.

Before you book a venue

What the room or the site needs.

  • From 150 m2 to 200 m2 depending on the format, with a ceiling of at least 2.8 m for a stage deck.
  • A straight entrance run of 6 to 8 m for the carpet and the arrival dressing.
  • 3 to 4 double power outlets, and a room that can be dimmed if there is a screen.
  • Loading access for the stage deck, and a wall of at least 3.5 m for the backdrop.
  • A table at the entrance for masks, props or arrival items.

Set-up and pack-down

Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down up to 1-2 hours after it. That time is included in the price, but it is additional to the programme hours your guests see, so check it against your venue hire.

Send us the venue name with your enquiry. We check these requirements against it and tell you before you commit, rather than on the day.

Adults, and no gambling anywhere in our catalogue.

These formats contain no casino-style tables. Where any format in our catalogue does, the chips are symbolic props: not sold, not staked, and never exchanged for money, vouchers or prizes of value. Evening programmes are for guests aged 20+ and over; Family Day is the one daytime format designed for families, and adult-only elements are never combined with it.

Our responsible entertainment rules

Questions we get asked

Questions about this category.

Can you work around our awards and speeches?

That is what these formats are for. We bring the stage, the lectern, the microphones, the screen and a host who keeps to your running order. Send us the list of speakers and award moments and we will build the run sheet around them.

Do you supply the content for the screen?

No - the screen, the feed and the technician are ours, the reel or slides are yours. We will test your file on our equipment during set-up so nothing is discovered at 19:00.

How long does a gala set-up take?

Up to 3 hours for the stage, lighting, carpet and dressing, and 1-2 hours to pack down afterwards. That is included in the price, but you need to have the room available for it.

Shall we check your date?

Send us the date, the town and roughly how many guests. We will tell you whether the date is free and what the package would cost, in writing. An enquiry does not reserve a date.
