Formats in this category

01

Cyberpunk Party

A near-future evening in two colours: LED tube frames, a printed alley backdrop and a DJ set that leans electronic. Two roaming hosts in costume hand out prop ID cards at the door. No screens with game interfaces and no spinning graphics - just light, sound and a room that looks like somewhere else.

What is included

  • 8 LED tube frames 2 m high in two colours
  • printed alley backdrop 4 x 2.4 m with 2 LED panels
  • 2 roaming hosts in costume for 3 hours
  • 80 prop ID cards and 20 wearable props
  • 18 LED uplights in two colours and 4 beam spots
  • DJ with a 4-hour electronic set, PA 2 x 600 W
  • 2 microphones and a technician on the desk
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 160 m2, 4 double power outlets on at least 2 circuits, a room that can be darkened, and a ceiling from 2.8 m.

Adaptable within the price

The colour pair, the number of tube frames, and whether the hosts stay in costume for the whole evening.

02

Neon Night

Light is the whole decoration: LED sign panels, tube frames and a dark room. We set the colour pair with you in advance so your own branding sits inside it rather than fighting it. Suits a standing evening after a conference day.

What is included

  • 6 LED sign panels with changeable shapes, no text
  • 6 LED tube frames 2 m high
  • photo corner 3 x 2 m with a reflective backdrop
  • 20 LED uplights in two colours and 6 beam spots
  • DJ with a 4-hour set, PA 2 x 600 W, 2 microphones
  • technician on the lighting desk for the full programme
  • 40 glow wristbands as arrival props
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 150 m2, 4 double power outlets on 2 circuits, and a room that can be fully darkened.

Adaptable within the price

The colour pair, the number of panels, and whether the photo corner is lit or dark.

03

White Party

One colour, used properly. White drape, white furniture covers and warm light, with a dress code guests enjoy because it is easy. The room reads clean and bright, which works especially well in summer and in venues with a lot of daylight.

What is included

  • 12 m of white drape on 3 frames
  • 20 white chair covers and 8 white poseur covers
  • photo corner 3 x 2 m with a white textured backdrop
  • 14 LED uplights in warm white and 4 pin spots
  • 20 centrepieces with white flowers and candles
  • DJ with a 4-hour set, PA 2 x 400 W, 2 microphones
  • 1 host for arrival and announcements
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 150 m2, 3 double power outlets, a floor clean enough for white dressing, and shade if the space is outdoors.

Adaptable within the price

How much furniture is covered, flowers or candles in the centrepieces, and the music brief.

04

Retro Tape Night

An evening set somewhere between the late seventies and the early nineties: cassette-era props, a dressed record corner and a playlist your guests will argue about. The host runs two short music rounds between sets so the room has something to do.

What is included

  • record corner with 2 crates of sleeves, a turntable prop and shelving
  • photo corner 3 x 2 m with a geometric backdrop and 2 LED panels
  • 50 period props: sunglasses, headbands, tape cases
  • 14 LED uplights in three colours and 4 beam spots
  • DJ with a 4-hour set, PA 2 x 400 W, 2 microphones
  • host for 2 short music rounds with printed answer cards
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 140 m2, 3 double power outlets, and a wall of 3.5 m for the record corner.

Adaptable within the price

Which decade leads the playlist, the number of music rounds, and the prop mix.

05

Disco Night

The straightforward one: a proper dance floor, a mirror-ball rig and a DJ who reads the room. Light on theming, heavy on music, and the cheapest way to turn a plain function room into an evening people stay at.

What is included

  • mirror-ball rig with 2 pin spots on a free-standing truss
  • dance-floor lighting: 8 LED washes and 4 beam spots
  • photo corner 2.4 x 2 m with a mirrored backdrop
  • DJ with a 4-hour set, PA 2 x 600 W, 2 microphones
  • 10 LED uplights on the walls in two colours
  • 30 arrival props
  • 1 coordinator on site

The venue needs

From 130 m2 with at least 40 m2 of clear dance floor, 3 double power outlets, and a ceiling from 2.7 m for the truss.

Adaptable within the price

Size of the lighting rig, the music brief, and whether there is a short dance lesson at the start.

On the day

How a sound & colour event runs.

  1. 1

Set-up re-rigs the room: uplights, tube frames or panels, PA and the photo corner.

  2. 2

Doors open onto a dark, lit room with the arrival set playing and props handed out at the door.

  3. 3

One short programme moment in the middle - an award, a thank you, fifteen minutes at most.

  4. 4

The main set runs to the close, with the lighting desk following the music rather than cycling on a timer.

Who is in the room

A DJ for the full set, a technician on the lighting desk for the lighting-led formats, a host for the arrival and announcements, and a coordinator. Roaming hosts in costume are listed on the formats that include them.

Before you book a venue

What the room or the site needs.

  • From 130 m2 to 160 m2, with at least 40 m2 of clear floor for dancing.
  • A room that can be darkened - these formats are lighting-led and daylight flattens them.
  • 3 to 4 double power outlets on at least two circuits.
  • Ceiling from 2.7 m for a free-standing truss or 2 m tube frames.
  • Noise conditions checked with the venue, because the PA is sized for the room.

Set-up and pack-down

Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down up to 1-2 hours after it. That time is included in the price, but it is additional to the programme hours your guests see, so check it against your venue hire.

Not sure if your venue works?

Send us the venue name with your enquiry. We check these requirements against it and tell you before you commit, rather than on the day.

Send the venue details

Adults, and no gambling anywhere in our catalogue.

These formats contain no casino-style tables. Where any format in our catalogue does, the chips are symbolic props: not sold, not staked, and never exchanged for money, vouchers or prizes of value. Evening programmes are for guests aged 20+ and over; Family Day is the one daytime format designed for families, and adult-only elements are never combined with it.

Our responsible entertainment rules

Questions we get asked

Questions about this category.

How dark does the room need to be?

Darker than a normal function room. These formats are lighting-led, so a room with blackout or at least controllable lighting makes an enormous difference. If your venue cannot be darkened, Black & Gold or White Party will suit you better than Neon Night.

How much power do you need?

Four double outlets on at least two circuits for the lighting-heavy formats, three for the lighter ones. Each format page lists its own requirement, and we will confirm it with your venue before the day.

Can we use our own playlist?

Yes. Send us a list of must-plays and do-not-plays and the DJ works from it. We will not hand the whole set over to a phone on the night, because that is how evenings lose their shape.

Shall we check your date?

Send us the date, the town and roughly how many guests. We will tell you whether the date is free and what the package would cost, in writing. An enquiry does not reserve a date.
